Special Education Advocacy
At AGE Advocacy, we're dedicated to providing inclusive and accessible education for all students.
My passion for special education advocacy ignited during my high school years. I found myself naturally drawn to helping classmates who struggled with various learning challenges. This early experience shaped my future, leading me to dedicate years to working with and supporting both children and adults with special needs.
A pivotal moment in my journey was introducing my own children, now grown with families of their own, to the Summerville Miracle League during their elementary school days. Since then, I've remained deeply involved with this wonderful organization, witnessing firsthand the power of inclusive activities.
My commitment to this field is also deeply personal. With family members on the autism spectrum, born with Down syndrome and others with complex medical needs, I intimately understand the challenges families face. These experiences have fueled my determination to make a difference and have given me a unique perspective that informs my advocacy work every day.

What should I be doing more?
Does my child have the right IEP Goals?
Does my child have enough therapies or time?
Is my child in the right placement?
Should there be more inclusion for my child?
Is my child getting a positive inclusion experience?
